The 2001 LHSC Grant Application ProcessStep 1: Submit a Letter of InquiryYour first step will be to complete a "Letter of Inquiry" for your project. In the online process that follows this tutorial, you will be prompted to answer simple questions such as the name of your organization and proposed project and short descriptions of each, your tax I.D. number, your contact information and e-mail address. Your Letter of Inquiry will be immediately submitted once you enter your information and click the "submit" button. You will receive an e-mailed confirmation of receipt. (Please, no phone calls due to our limited staff size.) Your Letter of Inquiry will be reviewed by LHSC staff and grants committee. See the FAQ section later on in this guide for LHSC judging criteria. Step 2: Submit a full proposalIf your Letter of Inquiry is selected, you will receive full proposal submission instructions via e-mail and phone. Grantee notification will take place 10 to 12 weeks after submission of your full proposal. Application Timeline
Application is always open. However, since the grants program fund is renewed at the beginning of every year, grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. While grant applications from both cycles are treated equally, and only qualified projects will be awarded grant money, participation in the "cycle 1" application period is recommended *The online proposal submission process is password protected. Lowe's Home Safety Council will provide you a password when, and only when, your online Letter of Inquiry is approved. **Successful applicants who are chosen as LHSC grantees can expect notification approximately 10 to 12 weeks after the deadline of their full proposal. |
