Guide To The Lowe's Home Safety Council Grants ProgramLHSC Grants Program is one way we put our mission statement into action. The 2001 LHSC Grants Program has grant money available for 501(c)(3) organizations that help people improve their home safety acumen or motivate them to better home safety practices. Do you have a program or an idea for a program that you'd like money to help fund? Keep reading to see if your program is likely to be awarded a Lowe's Home Safety Council grant. Who Is Eligible for an LHSC Grant? One more consideration: grants are reserved for residential-focused projects and will not be given to institutional environments such as nursing homes. We will not provide grants for general operating budgets. Do you have an intervention-related project you'd like us to fund? Before deciding what to propose to LHSC, keep in mind that all guarantees must propose programs that support the strategic objectives of the Lowe's Home Safety Council:
Important note: Because our LHSC objectives mandate enabling and motivating people to better home safety practices, the funds available through our grants program are for programs that actively work with people to achieve that objective. Please do not submit proposals for research projects -- intervention proposals will be given top priority. |
